Spring Cleaning Rally at the Scout Hut!!! : Our Scout Hut is in need of some serious TLC inside and out! All Scouters and Scouts are asked to join us Saturday morning from 9:00 till 1:00 (or what time you can) for spring cleaning and maintenance duty. There's plenty to do inside and out so there's something to keep everyone busy! Put on your grubbies, bring gloves and tools and let's get our 'Curb Appeal' looking ship-shape! Campout at Brookshire Campground - Lake Palestine May 18-20:
FCT activities and shakedown run for Northern Tier groups. Come have fun at the lake. Summer Camp June 10-16:

Scout Ranch. Beautiful Fishing right out the back door of the Tent.
Lots of Merit Badges, Campfires, Trucker Dan, Miller Time and more.Crazy Hollis,
Coach Ranger, Alvin York, Chief Swaha, Bubba Dufus, who knows who
may come. Nacho Libre? Ms Cece's Fantastic Teepee.
Lights, actions, awards, rodeo, races, canoeing, swimming, horseback riding,
hiking, climbing, leadership courses... all at a reasonable cost.
Estimates around 300 plus your spending money and fuel/transportion.
New Webelos Scouts should doodle also.

Jamboree is filling UP! Do you want to go to Jamboree in
2013? Get your name on the list right away. Every time we have
a Jambo, some are on the waiting list and are sitting at home watching
spongebob reruns cause they did not get in the game early! You must
be 12 and first class to attend. You must get Scoutmaster
approval. Cost is $ 2100 if you make your payment deadlines by April
of 2013. Go to bsajamboree.org. You will need your Scout
ID number. ( It is on your membership card.) Lost your
mind, send me a note and I will furnish your number. We are planning
a great trip with DC visit, a whitewater raft trip, loads of fun with a whole
bus load of SUPER scouts! wow.
